When I was a little kid I loved playing video games. It wasn't until I experienced the Warcraft III World Editor that I realized how much I loved making games. Ever since then I knew that I wanted to become a professional game designer.
To make my dreams a reality I became a student at DigiPen Institute of Technology studying their Bachelors of Arts in Game Design degree. While there I worked on a variety of projects where I have worked solo and with a team.
Once I graduated I got a job working on one of my favorite games, Guild Wars 2. I assisted the Commerce Team in designing and implimenting content for our in game store. I also took it upon myself to have an internship project where I worked with the Rapid Content Team to create a new questline for the game.

Afterwards I moved on to work at Gunfire Games as a combat designer. My role on that team was to design bosses and enemies in Remnant 2 and its predecessor. Been there ever since.

For the entire duration of the base project I worked as a Combat Designer on the team. In this studio my role called to design and build bosses, creatures, encounter, and NPCs for the game. To do this I used the tools within Unreal Engine and the studios proprietary state machine. Additionally, I instructed animators, vfx artists, and sfx designers to when working on this project to ensure the vision of each character was achieved. All while accomplishing the goals of the studio's directors.

When I joined the studio we were at the tail end of finishing development on Remnant: From the Ashes DLC. My first and only project with the studio was to learn and build all three versions of the Packmaster creature. This meant building two enemies you would fight in random encounters within the game, and then building off the work I did on those to create a boss that maintained the spirit of the original creatures while also becoming something much greater.

During my time at ArenaNet I designed, pitched, built, and bug fixed new convenience items for players to purchase in our online store. I worked closely with the commerce design team, artists, and sound designers to create new content for the game.
Additionally, I did extra work with the Rapid Content Team to create an encounter for the game. While I never shipped that content, it later got repurposed into an encounter in the End of Dragon's expansion.
